Hanur: Cattle succumb to strange disease
-Disease spreading from one to another
-Farmers panic amid crop loss
Incident of cattle succumbing to a strange disease took place in Kuratti Hosur village of Hanur taluk.
Three calves belonging to Munisidda, a farmer of Kuratti Hosur village, got blisters and died.
There has been an epidemic in cattle for the past several days and the nodules have died within days of arrival. This disease spreads faster to calves than to cows and already three calves belonging to farmer Munis Shetty died and one calf succumbed to this disease 4 days ago.
Prevent and cure disease:
Blister-type gout in cattle is spreading day by day and the concerned authorities should pay attention to this and prevent the death of cattle and the farmers have demanded that appropriate compensation should be given to the dead cattle calves.
Strange disease affects dairy farming: While dairying is more important for the farmers who are suffering without rain, the death of cattle due to strange diseases has added insult to injury for the farmers, so the concerned animal husbandry department officials should take action to protect the cattle dying due to strange diseases and take action to compensate the farmers for the loss.
