Journalists who had gathered at the town's tourist temple on Wednesday paid homage by placing a portrait of Habib and offering floral tributes.

Nataraju, Directors Mariswamy, Rajasekhar, Chikkamalige, Rajesh, Nataraju, Suresh, Avin Prakash, Muguru Mahesh, Surendra, Shankar, Chandra, Angallisekhar Mahesh, Samuel, Vasantakumar, Sagar, Karthik, Prem, Nataraju, Lingaraju, Girish were there.
