MLA who started the Dikshabhumi Yatra A. R Krishnamurthy
Dr. B. R. Thousands of Ambedkar's followers from the district went on the Deeksha Bhoomi Yatra to witness the Dhammadiksha Mahotsava program which will be held at the Deeksha Bhoomi where Ambedkar along with millions of his followers,
Kolegala MLA AR Krishnamurthy gave the green signal to the buses going to the Deeksha Bhoomi Yatra.
In this case, MLA A. R. Krishnamurthy said that after the Congress government came to power in 2023 under the leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, HC in the government of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Mahadevappa took many historic decisions after assuming office as Social Welfare Minister and allowed the reading of the Preamble of the Constitution in the state.
Also a historic work has been done by making Rajyadanthya human chain.For the last three years, 10 buses of our Chamarajanagar district have been allowed to leave for Deeksha Bhoomi. Given
Baba Saheb Ambedkar has been given the privilege of seeing the Diksha Bhoomi where he was initiated and he has been entrusted with the responsibility till he reaches home safely after completing the Diksha Bhoomi Yatra.
On this occasion, Social Welfare Officer Kesavamurthy, Municipal Council members Shantraju, Manjunath, P. Krishna Raju Ramesh Siddharth, Pujaya Block Congress President Thotesh, and others were there.
