MLA A.R.Krishnamurthy visited the Srikshetra Jain Basadi Dasoha Sansthan Math Dakshina Kashi, Shri Shaneswaraswamy temple here as part of Kollegala.Kade Kartika month and offered special pooja.

The MLAs who had arrived at the temple on the outskirts of Bastipura barangay of the town bowed down and offered prayers to Shaneswaraswamy.
On this occasion MLA AR Krishnamurthy and KPCC labor department general secretary and Cha Nagar in-charge JC Kiran were honored by the chief priest of the temple Mahadevappa.
On this occasion Block Congress President Totesh, General Secretary Bastipura Ravi, Yalandur Guarantee Projects Implementation Committee Chairman Prabhuprasad, Municipal Council Ex-Chairman Shantaraju, nominated members Swaminanjapa, Temple Working President Chetan, Harish, owners and leaders of Bastipura Barangay were present.
