Kollegala- Congress youth leader Sunil, who is being treated after being stabbed with a knife, was today met by MLA A.R. Krishnamurthy visited the hospital and inquired about his well-being.
On Tuesday, Rajanna, a young Congress leader, attacked Sunil with a knife and stabbed him in the shoulder in Terambally village of the taluk. Sunil, who was suffering from severe bleeding, was admitted to Kolegala Government Hospital and treated.

A complaint was filed in Mamballi police station about this incident. It is learned that the accused in the case has not been arrested by the police.

On learning about the knife attack on the Congress youth leader, MLA A.R. Krishnamurthy visited the hospital this evening and inquired about his well-being. And told the injured that he would inform the police to arrest the accused.
