District Officer Shilpanag said that 150 transport buses have been arranged to facilitate the devotees arriving at the Chikallur Jatra this time. He also said that a temporary health center will be opened in Chikkallur, where two doctors will be on duty day and night. Also, a tight police presence will be made to prevent any untoward incident in the fair. Constant power should be provided during the Chikallur fair. He also informed that on the day of Pankti Seva, they will be allowed to perform Pankti Seva without catching the sheep and chickens brought by the devotees at the check posts.
GPM CEO Monaroth, SP Dr.B.T.Kavitha, Taluk level officials including temple Bharat Raje Aras, village officials and leaders were present in the meeting.
