Bird's eye view of Kollegala Municipality Budget 2026-27

Kollegala, Feb, 10- In Kollegala municipal hall, MLA A.R. In the budget meeting held on February 10 under the chairmanship of Krishnamurthy, Municipal Administrator and Chamarajanagar District Collector Srirup presented the budget for the year 2026-27. 1,50,88,285 in the current budget. Savings have been shown. In the budget, the initial fee is Rs.14,52,85879, the deposits are Rs.37,83,93000 and the total amount is Rs.52,36,78,879. He said that the municipal council is expecting an income of Rs.
Out of this income, about Rs. 50,85,90,594 has been decided to be spent on various works of the municipal council. The various programs intended to be undertaken in this budget are as follows.
1) Rs.20 lakhs have been earmarked for development of Kolegala parks and installation of decorative lights, gym and exercise equipment in the parks.
2) Rs.420 lakhs have been earmarked for waste management, garbage disposal shed, service station, purchase of vehicles and machinery.
3) In the financial year 2026-27 per cent. 24.10 S.F.C. to grant grants to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes beneficiaries and provide basic facilities of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes wards. 65 lakhs is proposed to be allocated from open fund.For more information about this story, visit our website regularly.
